Last Race

Well, last night I went to the race track because I would be the last time I would get to watch Darryl race. It is the last Wednesday night race for the season. I think there are a couple of Friday night race (but I will be at the store) and there is a big race on Saturday September 6 (I also work that day). Anyway, onto last night. The week before Darryl crashed into the wall - he was okay but his car wasn't - so he spend two long days getting the car fixed and ready for this week. He made it through the heat race finishing last, but he didn't get to finish the feature race. The car just wouldn't turn. So his night was cut short and it look like he will be working on the car this weekend.

Hey did you notice how beautiful the night sky looked last night. I spent about 10 minutes just watching the sky and not the racing that was going on. At least it wasn't Darryl's race. Here are a few shots of the night sky from last night.
